Our Mission

At NSTS, our mission is to:

Unite the Tamil community in Nova Scotia and Atlantic Canada
Promote Tamil language, literature, and arts
Celebrate cultural traditions and festivals
Foster social connections and community service
Support educational initiatives, including the ambition to establish a Tamil Chair at a reputed university in Nova Scotia

What We Do

NSTS organizes a wide range of events and programs throughout the year, including:

Cultural Celebrations: Pongal, Tamil New Year, Deepavali, and more
Sports Competitions: Chess, Carrom board, Badminton, Throw Ball, Cricket
Community Engagement: Blood Donation Camp, Food drive etc.,
